Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal is a cultural institution based in Udaipur in Rajasthan state in India engaged in studying folk art, culture, songs and festivals of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and to popularise and propagate folk arts, folk dances and folk literature.

Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Museum is one of the popular museums of Udaipur, exhibiting the brilliant collection of folk articles of Rajasthan. This rare difficulty differs from typical rural-dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. The museum is comfortably situated in the building of Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal near Chetak Circle in Udaipur city. Mewar region of Rajasthan is known for its rich art and royal culture. Literally, the local community handicrafts and things of art of this region have always been cherished all over the world. Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Museum is a part of their program that show the best art and craft of Mewar.

As one enters in the gate of the museum, there is a hall displaying the theater objects. In the adjoining hall, you will trace a remarkable collection of tribal folk musical instruments and ornaments. Following this hall, you would came to a puppet theater. You can even watch a puppet show that occurs at regular intervals. On the opposite side of this theater, there are sketch of henna handprints, decorated cow dung floors and terra-cotta devras that come from the village of Molela near Nathdwara.

The museum picturise the wonderful collection of over past 44 years, gathered by the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal. To give a summarized idea of the folk heritage of India, traditional attires, ornaments, miniature paintings and many other art objects are shown here. Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal was formed in 1952 by Padma Shri Devi Lal Samar with an aim of refreshing the regional folk culture in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and other regions. This academy was set-up for researching about the folk art forms and digging them up so that it can be made visually available to people who are interested in learning the same. Also this academy has received International and National recognition through its puppet shows and other dance performances.

The Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Museum shows artworks from over past 44 years contain rural-dresses, puppets, ornaments, masks, folk musical instruments, dolls, paintings, folk deities, wall sculptures, ritual pots, wooden artwork & designs of henna. Every Evening a folk show is arranged at the studio theatre, where dance forms like garba, dandiya, ghoomar etc are performed. This group also performs in international program. Research work on several folk art forms are initiated at this center, all the research is then documented in audio and video form for educating pupils.
